London Chess Club Ltd

London Chess Club is an exciting new venture based in London. Founded by chess coach and
arbiter Shir Bar Tal, the club provides remote and over-the-board coaching to a wide range of
players of all standards and ages. We work with students, schools and companies from all over
the world providing high-level tutoring and coaching. Currently working with clients from the UK, USA, Israel, Spain and Saudi Arabia.

Our services
Online chess lessons (one-to-one and groups)
In-person lessons in London
School Chess Clubs (children and teenagers, ages four to 18)
Presentations on chess in the business world – strategy and planning for companies and
startups.
Our roster of coaches and presenters include titled players (Grandmasters and International
Masters).

Working with a wide range of chess abilities (from beginner to strong club player) we provide a
bespoke service by matching each student with a perfect fit coach. Our objective is to make
chess appealing and enjoyable.

Chess is all about problem-solving, strategy, and tactics and the skills you pick up over the
board help children and adult players with decision-making, time and risk management, working
under pressure, self control, and focusing.
Chess is not only about winning over the board, it also enhances self-awareness in overcoming
challenges in people’s personal and professional lives. So in studying the way you play – solid
defence without taking too many risks, or aggressive tactician on the attack– you will learn how
to incorporate your personality into the 64 squares.
