favorite opening is e4, e5. Not a big fan of the other responses to e4, not cuz they're bad or anything, but because I prefer the classical style 

favorite opening over all is the king's gambit, and every one of its variations

favorite players are steinitz, ivanchuk, morphy, finegold, and the silly ones like la bourdonnais 

debutant french speaker, not super confident in my level but if you wanna speak to me in french, i'd love to and usually have no trouble at all understanding it written
