Sadler Wins Oslo Chess International
The semi-retired English GM, and former British Champion Matthew Sadler proved he's still a force to be reckoned with by winning the 2011 Oslo Chess International.
Sadler won the 9-round Swiss event with an excellent score of 8/9, 1½ points ahead of the field.
It was a shame for the chess world that Sadler abandoned professional chess for a successful career in IT. Perhaps he will grace the chessboards on a more regular basis after this result...
