     (Spanish/English) Hi all! My name is Maicol Benavides, I am Fide Master and I have been an active chess player for 8 years, and a coach for just over 1 year.

   I help people of all ages improve chess performance at all levels. I like to share the knowledge that I have acquired all these years through the experiences of national and international competitions in which I have participated.

   I started my coaching career a little over a year ago. I really like helping people who are on the rise in their career, as a coach, it is a great satisfaction to see how the students feel proud of their hard work in training when obtaining the previously proposed results at the beginning of the Work with the coach or the person from whom you acquire the knowledge and skills.

   I focus on working on all facets of the game, but on the other hand I like to focus my work on the most frequent failures that the person has in the game, be it anywhere in the game, any opening, any strategic issue, etc. I offer a fully interactive, dynamic and entertaining training. On the other hand I also lend my help before, during and after the student's chess tournaments, in the preparation of the games, in the preparation against the specific rivals, in the analysis of each game, and in all aspects that a The coach, by means of the appropriate tools, can give his student in favor of the best result he can obtain in the competition, fulfilling the expectations set during the training sessions.

 Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Maicol Benavides, soy Maestro Fide y jugador activo de ajedrez desde hace 8 años, y entrenador desde hace poco más de 1 año aproximadamente. 

   Ayudo a personas de todas las edades a mejorar el rendimiento ajedrecístico en todos los niveles. Me gusta compartir el conocimiento que he adquirido todos estos años a través de las experiencias de las competencias nacionales e internacionales en las cuales he participado.

  Empecé mi carrera de entrenador hace poco más de un año. Me gusta mucho ayudar a las personas que vienen en ascenso en su carrera, ya que como entrenador, es una satisfacción muy grande ver como los alumnos se sienten orgullosos de su ardúo trabajo en el entrenamiento al momento de obtener los resultados previamente propuestos al comenzar el trabajo con el entrenador o la persona de la cual adquiere los conocimientos y habilidades.

   Me concentro en trabajar en todas las facetas del juego, pero por otro lado me gusta enfocar el trabajo en las fallas más frecuentes que tenga la persona en el juego, ya sea en cualquier parte del juego, cualquier apertura, cualquier tema estratégico, etc. Ofrezco un entrenamiento completamente interactivo, dinámico y entretenido. Por otro lado también presto mi ayuda antes, durante y después de los torneos de ajedrez del estudiante, en la preparación de las partidas, en la preparación contra los rivales en específico, en el análisis de cada partida, y en todos los aspectos que un entrenador, mediante las herramientas adecuadas, puede dar a su alumno en pro al mejor resultado que este pueda obtener en la competencia, cumpliendo con las expectativas planteadas durante los entrenamientos.
