I live in Vermont in a lovely village off the main tourist routes. I spend my work hours cooking and my other hobbies include brewing beer, and bicycles, both of which I excel at, unlike my chess playing, which is the pits.

I started playing when I was 4 or 5. I never gave chess much thought until I was in college where I played in a few clubs. I put the game down and played Go for 5 years until coming back to chess after learning about chess.com.

I live with my partner who refuses to play at all and my 5 year old who likes to set up the board and only plays the hungarian.
