Hi all,
Learned the game at 5. Played my mom and beat her at age 9. Won a beautiful chess set off her and was hooked since. Joined the high school chess team while in middle school and made the 3rd (alternate team) in the 7th grade and 8th grade. From my Freshman year, I played on the high school squad and made it to 1st chair my junior year.  I didn't play much chess in my 20s, but am picking it up.
